THE CAMPSITE

The
naturist campsite ‘Le Fiscalou’ owes its name to a small brook with the same
name. The site of 35 acres is situated 850 kilometres south of Calais in the
department of Tarn, one of the most sunny regions of France. The temperature
in this region is around 30 degrees practically all summer. Naturism and
camping are a perfect combination on this site for people looking for
restfulness as well as for families.

The
gently sloping woodland provides fifty spacious camping pitches. Luxurious
wooden rentable chalets are set near the swimming pool and two rentable
caravans sit at the fringe of the wood. Campers have a choice of shady
pitches between the trees or in full sun on the terraced slope. Several
fresh water taps are spread around the grounds and for most of the pitches
electricity is available. The sanitary facilities are in a building on a
centrally situated point. There are free hot showers, toilets with lavatory
paper provided and a place to empty the chemical toilet of your caravan. At
a small charge, a washing machine and soap powder is at your disposal.

The campsite has a large
swimming pool with a safety fence. Over the pool is a cable-slide for the
children. And of course the site has a boules court and a volleyball court. There
is also table tennis, a communal barbecue and a sandpit for the toddlers.
The centrally situated terrace provides a lively view of all this
entertainment.

The
pleasant restaurant seats 40 people. Daily varying tasty meals are offered
here at reasonable prices. Fried snacks and chips are also available. Each
Friday guest can join the barbecue and on the Sunday afternoons there is a
sangria happy hour.
A wide range of fauna can be
found on the site: several species of lizards and salamanders, butterflies,
frogs and toads, little snakes, beetles and honey bees. There are not many
wasps and, most importantly, there
are hardly any mosquitos!! Until late at night the guests can sit
outside in the nude in front of their tents or caravans without being
annoyed by buzzing and stinging insects.
